   A.C. Brannan 1855 - 1935 Belle Brannan 1860 - 1937 Dallas Morning News April 8, 1937 Brannan - Denison, Texas. April 7 - Mrs. Arabelle Brannan, 76, died Monday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Vera Tanner of Sherman and was buried at Layne Cemetery Wednesday after services at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, near Denison. Mrs. Brannan was the mother of Mrs. T.F. Hampton of Dallas, Mrs. J.F. Sutherland of Dallas, Mrs. Tanner and Mrs. S.R. Brinkley of Sherman. Mrs. Jess Forisha of Denison and Mrs. K.E. Kennedy of Longview. She was a native of Arkansas and moved to Denison in 1901.
