 
1917 - 1946 Carroll McClain 1916 - 19-- The Denison Daily Herald Monday, December 3, 1906 pg. 1 C.F. McClain, age 74 years and 9 months, died yesterday afternoon at 5:40 o'clock at South McAlester from cancer of the stomach. The remains arrived in this city today on Katy train No. 1 and were taken to the Layne cemetery west of the city, where the interment took place after funeral services were conducted by Rev. Geo. W. Lee, pastor of the First Christian Church. The decedent formerly resided in this city on South Fannin avenue. He leaves a wife and three children.
