MR. SIEBERT, SADLER, IS BURIED on MONDAY

An 84-year-old Sadler native was buried at 2 p.m. Monday with services in the Sadler Baptist church.
Leroy Siebert, a resident of Sadler, died in a Sherman hospital Saturday morning after an extended illness.
Services were conducted by Rev. Jerry Rankin, pastor of the Sadler Baptist church.
Pallbearers were Bob Thompson, J.W. Pond, Ele Neasbitt, Robert Eldredge, Mack Belsher and Leslie Wood.  Burial was
in Christian Chapel cemetery.  Funeral arrangements were handled by Richards Funeral Home of Whitesboro.

Mr. Siebert was born March 9, 1884 in Sadler.  He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Siebert.
He was married on September 23, 1906 in Southmayd to Epsie Roberson.
A retired farmer, Mr. Siebert was a member of the Christian church.
He is survived by his widow; four sons, Raymon Siebert of Sherman, C.J. Siebert of Denison, Willard Siebert of Grants Pass, Ore., and Donald Ray Siebert of Kingsville; four daughters, Mrs. Lois Lee Wood of Chico, Mrs. Teola Eldredge of Denison, Mrs. Emma Von Axtell of Grants Pass, Ore., and Mrs. Florence Gregory of Houston; 18 grandchildren including Billy Jack Stinson of Sadler who was raised by Mr. and Mrs. Siebert; and seven grandchildren.
Other survivors are three brothers, Otis Siebert of Sadler, Jess Siebert of Eastland and Lee Siebert of Texarkana, Ark.;
nine sisters, Mrs. Mattie Franklin, Miss Eva Siebert and Mrs. Elsie Walker, all of Whitesboro; Mrs. Eula Cowan of Littlefield, Mrs. Birdie Barnes of Mexia, Mrs. Hazel Parham of Austin, Mrs. Irene Moulder of Grand Prairie, Mrs. Jewel Godwin of Houston and Miss Bess Siebert of Vernon.




Epsie Siebert
29 September 1886 - 6 March 1976

Whitesboro - Mrs. Epsie Siebert, 89, of Sadler, died Saturday in a Denison nursing home.
She was born Sept. 29, 1886 in Tennessee, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. M.T. Roberson.  She married Leroy Siebert
in 1906, who died in 1969.  She was a member of the Sadler Baptist Church.

Services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. today in Richards Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro.  Burial was in Christian Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors are five sons: Raymond Siebert of Sherman, C.L. of Denison, Steve W. of Grants Pass, Ore., and Donald Ray Siebert, and Billy Jack Stinson of Sadler; two daughters, Emma Axtell of Grants Pass and Florence Gregory of Houston;
18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Charlie R. Robertson of Fort Worth.
