Sadler - Anson Eldridge, 78, resident of Grayson County for 73 years, died unexpectedly at his home at Sadler Thursday
at 2 a.m.

He was born in Illinois, Sept. 7, 1869, the son of Harvey and Rebecca Roberts Eldridge.  He came to Texas and Grayson County at the age of five years.  He was married to Mrs. Mollie Eldridge in Oklahoma Nov. 27, 1905.  Prior to his retirement 12 years ago, he had been a farmer.  He was a member of the Sadler Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Orville Eldridge and Charlie Eldridge, both of Denison; one daughter, Mrs. Clara Holey, Denver, Colo.; and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements in charge of Barrett Funeral Home are incomplete.

ANSON ELDRIDGE
Sadler - Funeral services for Anson Eldridge, 78, who died Thursday at his home at Sadler, were held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Sadler School gymnasium.  The Rev. Ray Short, Sherman, conducted.
Pallbearers were M.J. Blevins, Marvin Knight, Lee Nowlin, A.L. Franklin, Carol Cody and Frank Dollar.  Burial was in Christian Chapel Cemetery, directed by Barrett Funeral Home, Sherman.


DENISON - Funeral for Mollie Etta Eldredge, 95, who died Saturday morning in a local nursing home, will be Monday,
2 p.m., at Johnson-Moore Chapel.  Rev. Eugene Hoover will conduct the service.  Burial will be in the Christian Chapel
Cemetery east of Sadler.
Mrs. Eldredge was born Sept. 8, 1884 in Arkansas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Y. Campbell.  She married Anson
Eldredge in Oklahoma.  He died in 1947.  She was a seamstress for many years in her home and was a member of the
Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, J.O., Denison; a daughter, Mrs. Francis McMenamy, Denison; 11 grandchildren, 37
great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
Family night will be today, 4 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be great-grandsons, Stanley, Larry, Joey and Wesley McMenamy, David Fitch, Doug and James Branch.
