Funeral services for Fred A. Hicks, 80, of Rt. 1, Denison were held at Bratcher-Moore chapel Wednesday afternoon with Rev. Sam Allenbaugh and Rev. LeRoy Martin officiating.  Burial was in Cherry Mound.
Mr. Hicks was born  in Tennessee in 1874.  He was married to Annie Lenora Woods in Bells, December 18, 1904.  He was a farmer.
Survivors are three sons, Crayton Hicks, Denison; Clayton Hicks, Salt Lake City, Utah; and Clifton Hicks, Salt Lake City, Utah; a daughter, Mrs. Weldon Cooper, Denison; three brothers, Rote Hicks, Grandfield, Oklahoma; Crayton Hicks, Biloxi, Mississippi; and Bond Hicks, Severesville, Tennessee; and 8 grandchildren.
