DEATHS
Funeral services for Joe R. Cleveland, 92, who died Monday, September 21 at Bonham, were conducted Wednesday at Johnson Moore Chapel with Rev. W.E. Peterson officiating.  Interment was at Cherry Mound, Johnson-Moore directing.  Cleveland made his home at 711 W. South 3rd street for the past 4 years and had been in ill health for 4 years.
Born at Cherry Mound, December 21, 1867 as the son of Mr. and Mrs. Layfette Cleveland, he received his education in the community of his birth.  On December 24, 1913, he was married to Miss Annice Coleman of Denison.  He followed the business of farming and groceryman at Cherry Mound.
Surviving are his widow and one daughter, Mrs. Joe Weirick and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
