Harold (Dave) Loyd Wood was born June 18, 1931 in Pinetop, Oklahoma, son of Lee Ellis and Gracie Wood.  He was a long time employe of the Denison Cotton Mill and Kawneer.  He lived on Kool Lane in Denison, Texas.  Harold passed away Sunday,
June 27, 2021.
He is survived by his children, Kathy Wood Thompson of Bristow, Oklahoma; Stoney Lee Wood of Savoy, Texas; grandchildren: Wendy Waller; Stoney Lee Ellis Wood; Heather Buck; Trace Thompson; Valerie Griffin;  15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces a d nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lelia Ann Wood; his parents; brothers, Chess Wood, Pete Wood, Brady Wood, JP Wood; and sister, Lillian Smith.
Funeral services, hosted by Fisher Funeral Home, were held Friday morning, July 2, 2021 at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel in Denison, Texas  Interment followed at Cherry Mound Cemetery, Denison, Texas.  Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home. - - - Fisher Funeral Home
