CHERRY MOUND WOMAN DIES SATURDAY P.M.
Mrs. Margaret Woods, 86, of the Cherry Mound Community, was buried Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock, following her death Saturday night at the family home.  She had lived in that community for the past 40 years.  She had been ill for the past 10 days.
Officiating at the funeral were Rev. L.R. Lamb of Denison, Rev. Milton Short of Denison, and Rev. E.L. Wright of Ector.  Pall bearers were J.W. Crave, V.M. Weaver, Luther Mosley, R.L. Lynch, W.F. Vaughn, and Waldo Irvin.  Interment was made at Cherry Mound with Short-Murray directing.
Mrs. Woods was born in Greenville, Tennessee, March 8, 1850.  Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Mason Jones.  She was married to W.P. Woods [sic] April 11, 1872.
Surviving are sons, F.W. Woods and W.P. Woods, Gorden [sic], Texas; and 6 daughters, Mrs. Mary Summerville of Pottsboro; Mrs. C.W. Bengle, Mrs. J.D. Davis, Mrs. F.A. Hicks, and Mrs. E.E. Vaughn, all of Denison; and Mrs. James Roach of Ambrose.
M.K. Jones of Denison is a nephew; 29 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren survive.
