FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR ED HARRISON YOUNG

Funeral services were held August 3 for Ed Harrison Young of Houston who died July 30 in Crofton, Ky., of a sudden illness.

Services were held in the Richards Funeral Home chapel under the direction of Richards Funeral Home with Burton Coffman officiating. Burial was in Cedarlawn cemetery in Sherman.

Mr. Young was born Nov. 15, 1900 in Collinsville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Young. He married Anna Lou Martin Jan. 12, 1923.

He was a retired carpenter and contractor and was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Houston for 30 years.

Surviving him are his wife; a son, Gerald E. Young of Dallas; a daughter, Mrs. Ellouise Mack of Crofton, Ky.; three brothers, Joe Young, Jeff Young, and C.J. Young, all of Collinsville; one sister, Mrs. Albert Norton of Mangum, Okla.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
