Services were held at 3 p.m. Monday at Key Memorial Methodist Church, Sherman, for Max L. Taylor, 63, of Sherman, a former. . . , who died Saturday afternoon.  He was a brother of Herbert Taylor of Howe; R.M. Williams and Jerry Dulaney officiated.  Burial was in Cedar Lawn Cemetery with the Flesher Funeral Home of Van Alstyne in charge of arrangements..
Mr. Taylor was born in Grayson County, Feb. 23, 1906, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. D. Taylor.  He was married to Nora
Hunter on Sept 21, 1930 in Durant.

Other survivors include his wife of Sherman; two sisters, Mrs. Inna Driggers of Van Alstyne and Mrs. . . . , Dorothy Taylor
and D.B. Taylor of Sherman; Clay Taylor of Plano and D . . . Taylor of Garland.

Nephews of Mr. Taylor were pallbearers.
