Graveside services for Walton Lee Young, 91, of Sherman, TX will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Sherman.
Rev. Bernie Gallagher will officiate the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home. Walton passed away on January 3, 2008 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center.
Walton was born on July 11, 1916, in Enid, OK the son of John Wesley and Esther (Eickhoff) Young. He married Esther Ruth (Abernathy) on December 31, 1946 in Dallas, TX.
Walton is survived by his wife Esther Ruth Young of Sherman, TX, one nephew, Michael Young of McKinney, TX, two nieces, Nancy Hardy of Dallas, TX and Marianne Reavis and husband Cliff of Winnsboro, TX. He is also survived by a host of friends.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 4, 2008 from 12:00 to 7:00 PM at Waldo Funeral Home.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the donors charity or church of choice.
