Sherman - Juanita Clara Green passed away Friday, January 11, 2008, at The Homestead of Sherman. Funeral services
will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 14, at Waldo Funeral Chapel. Bill Mayes of Woods Street Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. 

Pallbearers will be Nig Meyers, Randy Jones, Conrad Adams, Jay Buckner, James Groce, and Allen Whitelock. 

Mrs. Green was born in Grayson County on October 2, 1912, the daughter of Fryson Butts and Ethel Perry Butts. She married C. U. Green in 1942, and they made their home in Sherman. Juanita was co-owner of the Cameo Beauty Salon
with her sister and best friend Lee Adams. She was a member of the Woods Street Church of Christ, Monday Night Supper Club, and a former member of the Ethel Renfro Book Review Club and the Lionesses.

She was preceded in death by her husband C. U. Green who died in 1997. In addition to her sister Lee, Mrs. Green is survived by her son, Randy Roe and his wife Marcy of Plano; step-daughter, Mary Meyers and husband, Nig, of Wichita Falls, Texas; step-son William V. Green of Littleton, Colorado; grand-children: Hudson, Campbell, Porter, and Wilson and step-granddaughters Angela and Vickie; nephews David Adams and wife, Nita, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and James Butts and wife, Sue, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and John Butts of Midland, Texas; niece Donna Jones and husband, Randy, of Dallas; great-nephews Conrad Adams of Houston; Matthew Adams of San Antonio; Allen Whitelock and Perry Whitelock of Dallas and numerous cousins. 

The family will receive friends at Waldo Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. 

Memorials may be made to the Woods Street Church of Christ or the charity of the donor's choice.
