Marie M. Foster, Ponca City resident, died Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at Westminster Nursing Home in Ponca City, Okla. She was 95. 

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 31, 2003 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Denison with the Rev. Harold Watson, officiating. Services are under the direction of the Trout Funeral Home of Ponca City. 

Marie was born on Jan. 1, 1908 in Red Branch, Texas, the daughter of Henry L. and Alice (Striblin) Milliken. She obtained her early education from Red Branch schools. On Feb. 26, 1926 she married Claude L. Franklin. They made their home in Denison, Texas for many years. He preceded her in death on Aug. 30, 1977. Years later, Marie met Glen Foster of Whitesboro, Texas and they united in marriage on Feb. 1, 1986. After marriage, the couple made their home in Whitesboro.
Glen preceded her in death on March 20, 1997. In April of 1999 Marie moved to Ponca City. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro, which she enjoyed greatly. She also enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. 

Survivors include her daughter Neva Wells and her husband Edd of Ponca City, Okla., one granddaughter, Kim Hodges and her husband Mike; one great-granddaughter, Grace Hodges, all of Billings, Montana and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first and second husband, one son, Jolynn L. Franklin and two brothers, Clarence Milliken and Earl Milliken
