SHERMAN - Nancy Lee Dollins Teague passed away at her home on Nov. 17, 2009, after a brief illness. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 at Dannel Funeral Home Chapel with David Corder, Center Street Church of Christ officiating. Interment following at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 -8 p.m. on Friday at Dannel Funeral Home. 
Nancy was born on July 13, 1938, to Willie and Dorothy Kenny Dollins, in her grandparents' home in Sherman. She enjoyed telling the story that her Uncle Jack Kenney and his best friend Joe Stout were on the back porch awaiting her arrival. As an infant, Nancy was the official Meadolake Milk baby. In 1939 her photograph with the Meadolake Milk bottle became an advertisement campaign for Meadolake Foods. Educated in the public schools of Sherman, Nancy was a proud member of the Sherman High School Class of 1956. 
On December 26, 1955, she married Wayne Teague. Nancy and Wayne owned My-Way Furniture in Denison for 20 years. After retiring from the furniture business, Nancy worked for Butler Shehan Physical Therapy for several years. Her proudest accomplishment was fulfilling the roles of wife, mother and grandmother. 
Nancy was predeceased by her parents Willie Thomas Dollins and Dorothy Kenney Dollins and her brothers Pat and Mike Dollins, she is survived by her husband Wayne; her sons Dennis Teague of Dallas; Andrew Teague and wife Vicki of Pottsboro; daughter Robin Teague Atherton and husband Larry of Sherman; "adopted" daughter Ellen Martin Bryant of Booneville, Miss., and Sherman; grandchildren Anjolee Atherton Mawford and husband Alexander of Denison, Austin Atherton of Sherman, Madison Parker and Travis Wayne Teague of Pottsboro, and Andrew M. Teague of Monmouth, Ill.; brother Gary Dollins and wife Sandy of Pottsboro; her loving Aunt Mary Lou Kenney Madden of Denison and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Nancy was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her first great-grandchild. 
Pallbearers will be Alexander Mawford, Thomas Dollins, Jeff Dollins, Austin Atherton, Kelvin Clark and Ruben Henson. Honorary pallbearers will be Olan Atherton, James Dale Hill and the men of Center Street Church of Christ. 
Memorials may be made to Center Street Church of Christ Benevolent Fund.
