Established 1948  Van Alstyne Public Library Genealogical Collections Obituaries Sherman Herald Democrat Monday 8 Dec 1997 Page A6 DALLAS - Graveside services for Pattie Swindle, 80, of Dallas will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Chapel On The Hill in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. She died Friday, December 5, 1997 at Twelve Oak Assisted Living Home in Dallas. The Rev. Jerry Jones of Key Memorial United Methodist Church will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home. Mrs. Swindle was born on May 11, 1917 in Van Alstyne, the daughter of W.D. Wilson and Lucille Hestand Wilson. She married C.B.Swindle on May 13, 1939. She was a Methodist. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.B.Swindle in 1978; her son, Michael Swindle in 1980; and a grandson, Jeffrey Swindle in 1979.
