Mildred Griffith, 96, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Texoma Medical Center.

Graveside services will be in Chapel On The Hill Mausoleum in Cedarlawn Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011.  Officiating will be Reverend Danny Broughton.  Visitation is from 6-7 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Mildred was born on July 14, 1914 in Fayburg, Texas, the daughter of Homer Parker and Hattie Peel Nevil.  She married Charles Griffith on June 4, 1944 in Denison.  He died on February 24, 1998.

Mrs. Griffith worked for Kraft Foods and she retired from Texas Instruments where she worked on circuit boards.
Survivors are her sister, Mrs. Lafreta Bock and her husband, Jim of Sherman; grandchildren, David Cook and his wife, Jennifer of Ocean Side, California and Billy Cook of California; great-granddaughter, Donna Sue Cook of California; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles, daughter, Donna Sue Cook; sisters, Imogene Wright and Wynona Jones; and brother, Gwenlee Nevil.
