MRS. VERA MILLER 

DENISON - Mrs. Vera Miller, 72, of 1000 West Nelson, died Saturday in Fort Worth after a lengthy illness.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 10:30 am. at Bratcher Chapel with rev. Danny Wood officiating  Interment will be in Cedarlawn Memorial Cemetery.    Mrs Miller was born May 6, 1910, at Bonham, a daughter of Mr and Mr. H.N. (Hardin Napolian) Hanes.  She married Herbert C. Miller, Sept. 9, 1930, at Durant.  He died Aug. 3, 1977.  She was a member of East Baptist Church.
Survivors are one son, Herbert C. Jr., Fort Worth; one brother, Ernest Hanes, Denison, one sister, Elvira Blackwell, Denison; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gene Kriebel, Benny Elk, Dare Aston, John Porterfield, H.L. Ditto, and L.D. Lessly.
Family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 until 8.

Research Note:  Vera Miller's mother was Laura Belle Cook, the daughter of William C. Cook and Josephine Hall.  Vera's grandparents were Alfred P. Hall and his wife Sarah who moved to Fannin Co., TX (before the 1880 census was enumerated) from Gordon Co., GA.
