Myra Lee West, born on August 4, 1934 in Houston, Texas, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, May 26, 2022.  She was surrounded by some of the people she loved most in this world.  Memorial services were held at Calvary Baptist Church, Denison, Texas, on Monday morning, June 6, 2022.  A graveside service followed at Cedarlawn Cemetery, Sherman, Texas.
Myra is survived by her 3 younger siblings, Elton Mayes, Jimmy Mayes, and Patti Chevalier, as well as her 4 children, Pam Huddleston, Debbie Keeth, Michael Ball and Lee Dunham, as well as 9 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was greeted in heaven by her father, Myron Mayes; her mother, Ruth Mayes; her husband, James West; her first love and father of her children, Robert "Frank" Ball;  her sons-in-law, Scott Keeth and Les Huddleston; her daughter-in-law, Lisa Camarata; and her grandson, Jeremy LaChausse.
From the time she was just a little girl, Myra's greatest desire in life was to become a mother, and she filled that role beautifully.  Her children were her greatest joy in life, and she instilled in them a love for Jesus that continues to be passed down through each generation that has followed.
Myra smiled all the time and laughed with her whole body and soul when she got "tickled" by something.  She was humble about her talents, so not near enough people got to witness them, but she had the voice of an angel and she loved to sing.  She was also an artist who lived to sketch and paint.
Anyone who knew Myra knew that she was a Godly woman.  She loved the Lord with all her heart, and she wanted everyone she met to love Him, too.  When she said she would be praying for you, she truly meant it.  It was not an empty platitude like you hear from so many.  Her prayers were heartfelt and specific, and her family was convinced God had a special prayer line available to her, as her prayers were usually answered.
She dreamed of the day she would finally meet Jesus, and though she will be deeply missed here on earth, those who loved her take great comfort in knowing she is rejoicing with her Savior. - - - Fisher Funeral Home
