Denison - Charlotte Ann Laughlin Williams, 75, entered her heavenly home on Thursday, July 29, 2021.  Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, August 3, 2021 at Southside Baptist Church in Denison with Pastor Chuck McQueen officiating. Services were under the direction of Fisher Funeral  Home in Denison. Interment followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Charlotte was born on December 4, 1945 in Denison, Texas, daughter of Bert G. and Jewel Kathryn Franks Laughlin.  She grew up attending and was a member of Southside Baptist Church where she sang and taught Sunday School.  She was also involved in youth ministry.  Charlotte graduated from Denison High school in 1964.  She worked as an administrative assistant throughout her life until retirement.  Charlotte spent many years living in West Virginia with her husband, Jim.  While there, they enjoyed a laid-back retirement.  They were also faithful members of Peaceful Valley Church in Lerona, West Virginia.  Charlotte's hobbies were crafting, sewing, painting, and decorating.  After Jim's passing in 2005, she moved back to Texas to be close to her daughters and grandchildren.
Survivors are her daughters, Diana Meador and husband, Tim, of Whitesboro and JoAnna Brown and husband, Clint of Era; grandchildren, Ashley Drake and husband, Jeff, of Whitesboro; Sam King and partner, Ashley Yeary of Whitesboro; Heather Welper and husband, Calvin, of Era; Derrik Meador of Pottsboro; and China Allred and husband, Tanner, of Sherman; great-grandchildren, Jett Drake, Brynli Smith, Emily Meador, Elijah Meador, and Timothy MacKey; sister, Linda Banks and husband, Gary, of Derniso; brother, Don Laughlin and wife, Gail, of Del City, Oklahoma; her first husband and friend, Tony Latona of Denison; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Williams; parents; and brother, Gary Glen Laughlin
Pallbearers were Sam King, Jeff Drake, Jett Drake, Gary Wayne Banks, Michael Hansen and Clay Langford.
