DENISON - Funeral for James W. Watson, 70, who died Saturday in a Dallas hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Johnson-Moore Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Boyd M. Sawyer of Waples Memorial Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Watson was born Oct. 8, 1920, in Tioga, son of Earl N. and Vera Mae Watson. He attended Denison schools and married
Lola Bunn May 28, 1942 in Durant. He served in World War II as an instrument flying instructor. He was a switchman for MK&T Railroad and owned and operated Del's Charco-Burger in Richardson. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Dallas.

Survivors include his wife of Dallas; a brother, Charlie Watson of Denison; a sister, Mary Watson Anderson of San Marcos.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Watson, Kim Watson, Scott Greenbauer, Brandon Watson, Mike T. Walker and Clint Walker.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 until 8 p.m. today.
