Established 1948   Pauline G. Waits 1908 - 1993 Thomas W. Waits 1895 - 1975  The Denison Herald March 14, 1993 pg. 2 Services for Pauline Gladys Waits, 84-year-old homemaker of Sherman who died Thursday in Wilson N. Jones Hospital, were held Monday afternoon in the First Pentecostal Church. Rev. Charles Glass of First Pentecostal Church officiated and burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements were under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home. Mrs. Waits was born in Gainesville, daughter of Charlie Gunter and Eula MEise Gunter and attended school in Sherman. She married Thomas Wallace Waits on January 2, 1932 in Durant, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church. Survivng are her daughter, Blanche Jenson of Sherman; step-daughter, Mateline Harter of Abilene; brothers, E.S. Johnson and Carl B. Johnson, both of Sherman; and Elic Dale Gunter of Ft. Worth; sisters, Anna Eichelberger of Sherman; Dorothy Massengill of Mesquite; and Oleta Smith of White Settlement; and 2 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and 5 step-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Thomas Flowers, Frebert Belcher, Joe Oswalt, Don Hudgeons, Tom Bragg and Paul Oswalt.
