Established 1948  Denison Herald October 8, 1992 Page 2 DENISON - Graveside services for Clara Gee Walters, 85, of Sherman who died Oct. 7, 1992, in the Shady Oaks Nursing Home were at 3 p.m. Friday in the Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Lesslie Thompson officiating. Johnson-Moore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Walters was born April 25, 1907, in Roxton, daughter of John Franklin and Jessie Harriett Mitchell Landers. She attended schools in Paris and Roxton and St. Joseph's Nursing School in Paris. September 6, 1928 she married James Kellis Gee in Paris; he died in 1960. She married Charles Herman Walters in 1985 in Denison; he died in 1987. An undergraduate nurse for 37 years at Madonna Hospital, MKT Hospital, John Sneed, Texoma Medical Center and Dr. W.S. Fry, she was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and the Eastern Star. Surviving are two daughters, Margaret Ann Harris of Dallas, Nancy Wolkoff of Sherman; three sisters, Thelma Harris of Denison, Kathryn Smith of Arlington, Mildred Runnels of Sherman; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Bible Society, 1865 Broadway, New York, N.Y. 10023.
