Established 1948  The Denison Press Friday, February 13, 1959 pg. 4 DEATHS Funeral services were held at Twin Cities Baptist Church Monday, February 9 for Archie C. Williams, 67, of Route 3, Loy Lake Road. Rev. Claude Hunt and Rev. C.C. Clinton officiated and interment was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Johnson-Moore Funeral Directors in charge. Williams died in a local hospital Sunday, February 8 at 3 p.m. after four months of illness. He was born in Huntersville, Arkansas, December 6, 1921, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Williams. He was married May 7, 1944 to Mrs. Leta Smith. He had retired two years ago after having been employed at the Denison Cotton Mill for five years. He was a member of Twin Cities Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Denison; a son, James C. Williams, Sherman; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Jennings, Del Rio, Texas; two step-children, Louis Golden of Nedarland, Texas and Mrs. Raymond Ford, Dallas; four brothers, four sisters, and five grandchildren.
