Services for Jim Dillard Vandagriff, 77, of Sherman were held Monday in Flesher Funeral Home in Van Alstyne with burial in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. He died September 27 in Sherman Nursing Center.
Mr. Vandagriff was born in Gunter, a son of Jim and Sara Vandagriff and married Rachel Cooper on February 2, 1929, in Sherman. He was a retired truck driver.
Surviving are his son, Billy Joe Vandagriff of Denison; sisters, Nannie Ruth Johnson of Plano, Willie Bell Miller of Van Alstyne and Mary Barnes of Gunter; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
