Established 1948

Marvin was born on Breezy Hill in Denison April 5, 1932 and lived there most of his life with the exception of about 25 years when he lived in Nebraska.  When he retired, the first thing he did was come "home".
Marvin graduated from Denison High School and played quarterback for the Yellow Jackets all through high school.  He was appointed 1st string quarterback to the All State team in 1948.  His other accolades included being inducted into the DHS Sports Hall of Fame and to the DHS All Century Football team.  He loved his beloved Yellow Jackets and how appropriate that he passed on Homecoming weekend, September 27, 2018.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to play Dominoes and Gin Rummy.
Marvin will be missed here on earth but is now with his Heavenly Father in a new body and spirit.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Joy Sargent and husband, Johnny, of Caddo Mills and JInger Bibbee and husband, Wade, of Murchison, Texas; grandchildren, Katie, Cole, Barry, Luke and Lisa; 11 great-grandchildren; nephew, Vincent Hays and wife, Terry, of Denison.
Marvin is preceded in death by his mother, Eva Smith, of Denison; father, Fritz Vincent of Denison; sister, Barbara Hays of Denison.
Graveside services were held Monday afternoon, October 1, 2018 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park  in Chape on the Hill with Wade Bibbee officiating. - - - Fisher Funeral Home
