DENISON - Minnie Lee Tiner, 100, died February 3, 1992, in Texoma Medical Center. Graveside service was held Wednesday afternoon at Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Dr. Dennis Hochgraber officiating. Bratcher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Tiner was born December 2, 1891 in Cowlington, Indian Territory, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David D. Mote. She married Charles Mooney January 17, 1913 in McAlester. She married Victor R. Tiner December 23, 1947 in Washington, D.C. and he died in 1967. At one time, Mrs. Tiner was a nurse, having graduated from the National Institute of Nursing in Washington, D.C., and worked at Albert Pike Hospital in McAlester. She was a member of Parkside Baptist Church and the World War I Ladies' Auxiliary.
Surviving are a son, Thomas Russell Mooney of Tulsa; 3 daughters, Carmen Barnhill of Denison; Lois Cooper of Arlington; Betty Rosalie Sills of East Moline, Illinois; brother Ottie Mote of Eugene, Oregon; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
