Established 1948  The Sherman Democrat September 16, 1992 A-10 AMBROSE - Mary E. Thompson, 96-year-old Ambrose homemaker, died Monday at Northeast Medical Center in Bonham. Graveside services were held Thursday afternoon in Cedarlawn Memorial Park with Rev. A.B. Fletcher officiating. Arrangements were by Mullican-Little Funeral Home in Bells. Mrs. Thompson was born in Honey Grove, daughter of John and Margaret Faults Morgan. On December 25, 1910, she married C.C.Thompson in Honey Grove. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ambrose and had lived in Ambrose and the Cherry Mound area for 66 years. Surviving are her son, Billy Ray Thompson, of Waxahachie; daughters, Myrtle Jernigan of Arlington, Thelma Wilson of Burkburnett and Margaret Derebery of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
