Established 1948  Sherman Democrat December 15, 1991 A18 Services for WIlliam Claude Tribble, 93-year-old Sherman resident who died Saturday in Wilson N. Jones Hospital, were held Monday afternoon in Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Donnie Copeland of Greater Life Church officiated. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Mr. Tribble was born in Sherman, son of George Tribble and Lula Key Tribble, and married Ada Trammell in 1916 in Sherman. He was employed for about 30 years as a miller for the Gladiola Flour Mill Company. Surviving are his son, William Harold Tribble of Savoy; daughters, Merle Stephens, Thelma Taylor and June Rogers, all of Sherman; sisters, Bessie Gray of San Diego, California; Maurine Jolly of Corpus Christi; and Theda Holcomb of Sherman; and 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
