L.G. Tribble
Sherman - Funeral for L.G. Tribble, 69, of Sherman, who died Sunday in a Sherman hospital, was held Wednesday in the Luella First Baptist Church, with Rev. Larry Melhart officiating.  Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park, under direction of Dannel Funeral Home.
Tribble was born August 13, 1918, in Sherman, son of George P. and Lula Ann Key Tribble.  He was a graduate of Sherman High School.  Tribble served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Luella.  He married Georgia Stype May 8, 1947, in Howe.  Tribble was associated with Lyne Material for 27 years. 
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Eddie of Denton and George P. of Luella; brother, Claude of Sherman; three sisters, Maurine Jolley of Portland, Theda Holcomb of Sherman, and Bessie Gray of San Tee, Caliornia.; and five grandchildren.
