Established 1948   Funeral services for Paul Douglas Turner were held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Sherman, conducted by Pastor Judd Strawbridge of Windom Baptist Church and Dr. Mike Lawson of First Baptist Church, Sherman. Interment followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Dannel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Paul Turner, 49, was welcomed home by our Heavenly Father on January 2, 2018. Born in Denison, May 17, 1968, he was the son of Franklin Turner and the late Mary Calhoun Turner. He taught at Sherman High School and was the Music Director at Windom Baptist Church. Paul was a God-fearing husband, father, son, brother, teacher and friend. He touched the lives of many. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Kelli Bond Turner; a son, Cody Turner; and two daughters, Cortni and Cassidy Turner. Also his father, Franklin Turner of Caddo, Oklahoma; two sisters, Donna Huggins and husband, Ricky of Heavener, Oklahoma; and Lisa Adair and husband, James, of Telephone, Texas; as well as many nieces and nephews.
