Services for Grady Austin Tyler, 78-year-old Sherman resident who died Monday at his home, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Dannel Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Michael Bigham of Grace Tabernacle Church of Sherman officiated. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Tyler was born in Dodd City, the son of John Wesley and Leta Lou Rencher Tyler, and attended Fannin County schools. On February 3, 1975, he married Lottie Moss in Sherman.
He worked for Industrial Towel and Uniform Company for 37 years, and also delivered the Dallas Time Herald for several years. He was a member, deacon and trustee of Grace Tabernacle Church in Sherman.
Surviving are his wife; sons, Frankie Tyler of Sherman and Jimmy Tyler of Ennis; stepsons, Doyle Moss of Arlington, Danny Moss of Atlanta, Georgia, and Donald Moss of Denver, Colorado; daughters, DeAnn Hunt of Cedar Hill and Charla Whisenhunt of Ravenna; stepdaughter, Dimple Moss of Denver, Colorado; brother, Joe Tyler of Reno, Nevada; stepbrother, Jim Carr of Dallas; sisters, Helen Olive of Dallas and Annette Buning of Houston; stepsister, Willie Bradford of Dallas; four grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Charlie Commons, Harold Elkins, Roy Leslie, Jimmy Rencher, Paul Satterfield, Von Sutton and Charles Cooksey.
