Established 1948  Denison Herald July 1, 1991 A-2 DENISON - Funeral for Edith E. Taylor, 80, of Denison who died Saturday in a local hospital were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Bratcher Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Boone officiating. Burial was in the Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Taylor was born July 31, 1910, in Parsons, Kansas. She married Cecil S. Taylor on June 24, 1931 in Durant. He died May 19, 1977. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Eastern Star Gate City, Chapter 77, Past Worthy Matron; United Methodist Women and founding president Beauceants. Her only son, Rev. Jim Taylor, died June 9. He was a pastor of a church at Andrews, Texas. Surviving are two grandchildren.
