ENNIS – Bonnie Lucille Taylor, 85, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Ennis Regional Hospital.
Graveside service were at 3:30 P.M., Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, 5805 Texoma Parkway, Sherman, Texas 75090, with Pastor Jeff Evans officiating.
Bonnie was born July 1, 1925 in Newport, Texas, the daughter of Fred Cordell and Ida Hudson. She married J. Zenn Taylor on March 30, 1942 and he preceded her in death on June 3, 1988.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Denison; was a homemaker; lived in Ennis for 10 years; along with her husband, she owned and operated Burl's Pie shop for many years, Taylor Pony Farm and a photo shop in Bowie. She also loved to square dance.
Bonnie is survived by son Zenn Roger Taylor & wife Nancy of Plano, Texas; daughter Livia Banks & husband Ron of Ennis; grandchildren Brandon Tucker, Brett Tucker, Richard Taylor, Chris Taylor & 8 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are entrusted to Bratcher Funeral Home, Denison, Texas.

Denison - Funeral for J. Zenn Taylor, 69 of 222 W. Texas, who died Friday in a local hospital were 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Bratcher Funeral Chapel with Rev. J.T. Welch and Rev. Joel Kircher officiating. Burial was in Cedarlawn Cemetery.
Taylor was born January 6, 1919 in Frederick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Miles Reeves Taylor. He married Bonnie Cordell, March 30, 1942 in Wauriks. He was the retired owner of Nichols and Burls Fried Pie Shops. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the VFW and was a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Army. 
Surviving are his wife; son Zenn R. of Tampa, Florida; daughter, Livia Banks of Denison; brother Paul Ray of Irving; three sisters, Belle Coker and Ladell Jordan both of Bowie; Drucella Burriss of Fort Worth; four grandchildren. 
Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.
