DENISON - Funeral for Arthur R. Taylor, 79, who died Friday at his Denison residence, were at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Bratcher Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Billy Bush officiating. Burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Taylor was born December 22, 1911, in Fannin County, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Taylor. He married Letha Martin on September 7, 1944 in Durant. He was a retired car salesman, a member of East Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Durwood Haddock of Nashville, Tennessee; a half-brother, Vernon of Denison; and three step grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Joe Parker, Darrell Haddock, Rex Taylor, Robert Taylor, Marty Parker and Nolan Parker.
