Democrat February 23, 1993 A-6 DENISON - Fort Worth resident, David Michael Tillerson, 39, died February 21, 1993 at his residence. Graveside service were held Wednesday afternoon at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, with Rev. L.D. Lamb officiating. Johnson-Moore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Tillerson was born December 11, 1953 in Denison, son of William G. and Frankie Tillerson. He was educated in Ft. Worth and a Baptist. Surviving are his father, W.G. Sr. of California; mother and stepfather, Frankie J. Miller Merrell and Robert L. Merrell of Hurst; 2 daughters, Heather Jean Tillerson and Theresa Marie Tillerson, both of Houston; 2 brothers, Bill and Tom, both of Hurst; sister, Ralphia Swindell of Ft. Worth; and grandmother, Marie Miller of Denison. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, North Grayson Unit, P.O.Box 147, Denison, Texas 75021; or to the American Heart Association, Grayson County Division, P.O.Box 1234, Sherman, Texas 75091.  The Herald Democrat October 14, 2009 DENISON - Thomas Lucious Tillerson passed away October 4, 2009 in Gainesville. He was born on December 10, 1950 in Denison, son of William Glenn Tillerson and Frankie Jo Miller. A memorial service was held Saturday afternoon, October 17, 2009 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Chapel on the Hill, 5805 Texoma Parkway, Sherman. Mr. Tillerson was of the Baptist faith. He graduated from L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, attended Tarrant County College, served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and loved a variety of music. He is survived by his mother and stepfather Frankie and Robert Merrell of Hurst; sister Ralphia and husband. Hugh Swindell. of Paradise; brother William G. and wife, Patricia Tillerson, of Hurst. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Lucious and Marie Miller and Thomas Orval and Hope Tillerson; and brother David M. Tillerson. Arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of Bratcher Funeral Home, 401 W. Woodard St., Denison.
