Established 1948    Ingeborg Ruth Taylor 1936 - Bobby Eugene Taylor 1934 - 2023 US Air Force  Bobby "Bob" Eugene Taylor, 89, passed away peacefully at his home in Denison, Texas on Sunday August 6, 2023. He was born on April 26, 1934 in New Orleans, Louisiana, son of Gladys Taylor. Bob proudly began his military service in the U.S. Marine Corp at the age of 17 . He continued his commitment to serve our country for the next 22 years with the U.S. Air Force, serving in both the Korean and VIetnam Wars, before retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1973. In one of his early military reassignments, he was assigned to Germany, where he met his wife, Inge. They were blessed with 64 years of marriage. He began his civilian career working as a Purchasing Agen at Western Tractor, Hardwicke Etter and Magni-Fab until he fully retired in 1991. Bob is survived by his wife; his 4 children and their spouses: daughters: Pati (Bill), Karen (Randy); and sons: Bobby (Rhonda) and Jeff (Renea ). He has 4 grandchilren: Krystal (Calab), Ryan (Paula), Chance and Jordan (Meghan). He was recently belessed with 2 great-grandsons, Kael and Dawson. Graveside services with full military honors was held Saturday morning, August 12, 2023 at Cedarlawn Memoril Park, Sherman, Texas with Chaplain Dennis Noblett officiating. In lieu of flowers, Bob and his family would be honored if memorials in his name were sent to the following: Grayson County Home Hospice, Sherman; DAWG, Denison. Services were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, Denison, Texas.
