Established 1948   The Herald Democrat October 30, 2013 Tulsa, Oklahoma - Elbert G. Tolley, 72, entered into eternal life October 27, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Tolley was born November 8, 1940 in Colbert, Oklahoma, son of James and Minnie Hudson Tolley. Elbert loved to fish and hunt. He and his best friend, Gary, could tell some stories about Colorado and Wyoming. He was a bricklayer by trade. Mr. Tolley was preceded in death by his first wife, Pat Tolley; his parents; sister, Agatha; and one grandson. He is survived by his wife, Sharon, of Eufaula, Oklahoma; daughter, Laura Soness and husband, Matt; son, David Tolley and wife, Elease; and son, Ricky; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Roy Tolleyl; sisters, Mildred and Becky; stepsons, Nick Osbourn, Shawn Osbourn, and Jamie Osbourn. No services were held. He was privately laid to rest in the Chapel on the Hill at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas. Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, Denison, Texas.
