Established 1948   Danny A. Smith 28 May 1949 - 21 February 2008 Donna S. Smith 23 November 1950 - Danny Alan Smith, 58, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2008 at home with his family by his side.
Mr. Smith was born May 28, 1949 in Denison, Texas, son of Johnny Fate and Velma Leona Howell Smith. Danny married the love of his life, Donna McEuen, on August 23, 1968 in Denison. He loved his family and was of the Baptist faith. Danny was a wonderful husband, Dad and Poppy. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife of 39 years, Donna Smith, of Denison, Texas; daughter, Lori Smith of Howe, Texas; grandchildren, Brittinni Smith and Alissa Smith, both of Howe, Texas; Mom, Velma Smith of Denison, Texas; brother, Leroy Smith and wife, Retha, of Pottsboro, Texas; brother, Ricky Smith and wife, Wilma, of Irving, Texas; and sister, Karen Pace and husband, Lynn, of Burkburnett, Texas. Danny was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Smith; and his beloved son, Danny Lynn Smith. Funeral services were held Saturday morning, February 23, 2008 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Chaplain David Taylor officiating. Interment followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas. Pallbearers were John Cantwell, Jeremy Pace, Jared Pace, Kevin McEuen, Don Ulmer and Lucas Yarbrough.
