Jan Schneider - wife, mother and most  beloved titles, Nina or Neenee - passed away with family by her side on Thursday, July 8, 2021.
Jan is survived by her husband, Gary Schneider; daughters, Kimberly Platt; Shari Martin-Bassermann; and Tiffany Jones; sister in faith, Kay Dodson; grandchildren, Brandon Thompson; Corey Martin; Courtney Ellis; Daniel Vannoy; Justin Jones; and Atley  Bassermann; great-grandchildren, Keagan Platt Thompson; Jason Thompson; Kenslee Martin; and Raven Thompson; son-in-law, Wylie Platt; grandchildren-in-law, Michelle Thompson; Natalie Vannoy; Tori Martin and Sam Ellis; great-grandchildren-in-law, Colin Wise; Ryan Wise; and Emma Metcalf.
There are so many friends that Jan touched the hearts of and every person she interacted with she left smiling. She was loving, kindhearted, funny, and loved people.
Jan was born November 15, 1947 in Sherman, Texas, daughter of Royce Wallace Hutcherson and Mary Lena Reeves Hutcherson.  She greduated from Sherman High School in 1966, then took classes at Grayson County College.  Life took her to Coral Springs, Florida in 1987; then to Tampa, Florida in 1995. She was a devoted housewife in her early years, then worked as an Administrative Assistant until she retired.  She spent the last months of her life with friends and family.
Jan will make her last trip to the Lone Star State where there will be a Memorial Service Saturday morning, July 17, 2021, and she will be laid to rest at  Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman, Texas.
