Snyder 1943 - 2011 Corporal US Marines Father of Steven Robert, 1966; Jennifer Carol, 1969   The Herald Democrat January 6, 2011 Graveside services for Robert Earl Snyder of Calera, Oklahoma were held Friday afternoon, January 7, 2011 at The Chapel of Memories, Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Denison. It was officiated by Bro. Keith McIntyre. Robert's death was a result of a courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 24, 1943 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Marines and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Nina Snyder of Calera, Oklahoma; son, Steven Jacobs and family of Sherman; daughter, Jennifer Snyder and family of Arlington; 3 stepchildren, Greg Culifer and Susan Hancock of Denison; and Johnny Culifer of Luella; mother, Lena Honea; sister, Linda Nobles of Houston; brother, George Snyder of Arizona; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Glen Snyder; Aunt and Uncle Jimmy and Thelma; stepfather, Cecil Honea; and stepson, Brian Culifer of Abilene. All arrangements wer under the direction of American Funeral Services, Colbert, Oklahoma.
