- Dorothy A. Reeder, 89, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011 in McKinney,
Texas. Memorial service was held Saturday morning, July 30, 2011
at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. Rev. Joe Dee Ray officiated. Dorothy was born March 30, 1922, daughter of Ignatius and Pauline Merceded Kowalczyk in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She married Bernice Reeder on August 15, 1943 in Walters, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on August 3, 1999. She retired from Day Manufacturing in Sherman and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors are her daughters, Paula Jones and husband, Keith, of McKinney and Jackie Rogers of Corinth; grandchildren, Cory Jones of McKinney, Texas; and Anthony Jones of Duluth, Minnesota; 4 great-grandchildren, Dayne and Dylan Jones of San Antonio, Texasa; and Grace and Audrey of McKinney, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 7 brothers and sisters; and great-grandson, Carlin.
