The Austin American July 7, 1970 pg. 26 DENISON MAN LISTED AMONG SE ASIA DEAD Washington (AP) - The names of 15 men killed in action are on the latest casualty list from the war in Southeast Asia. Included was Spec. 4 Danny L. Robinette, son of Mrs. Veta G. Bell, 913 West Chase St., Denison, Texas. Danny was born son of Daniel Robinette and Veta Gaye Mann on July 5, 1946 in Denison, Texas. Danny commenced his tour of duty December 8, 1969. He died on June 23, 1970 in Vietnam; he was on a military mission when artillery fire directed by a friendly force landed in the area.
