Elmer Frank "Robbie" Robinson, 87, entered into eternal life Thursday, June 7, 2018 at his home in Denison.
Mr. Robinson was born February 9, 1931 in Yalobusha County, Mississippi, son of Elmer L. and Betty L. Walker Robinson.  He married the love of his life, Mary Peters
Robbie was an unselfish and dedicated servant to the Lord and others in many aspects.  Beginning with his serving his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force, retiring after 20 years as a Master Sergeant.  Then working for 16 years at Union Pacific Railroad.  Robbie then dedicated his life as an ordained minister at Emmanuel Baptist Chrurch.
Robbie had many hobbies and talents.  Among them he was a gardener with a green thumb, as well as a skilled mechanic and carpenter in woodworking.  He volunteered for 14 years at the Perrin Air Force Base Museum.  He was an inspiration and touched many lives over the years.
Mr. Robinson leaves behind his wife of Denison; son, Patrick Earl Robinson and wife, Lisa, of Denison; daughter, Peggy D'Ann Jacobs and husband, John, of Denison; grandchildren, Chris Robinson and fiance, Sofia; Jennifer Robinson; Brooks Robinson; Andrew Jacobs; Laura Robinson; Alex Jacobs; Kyle Robinson and fiance, Allyson; and Nikki Robinson; and 2 great-gramdchildren, DeLaney Robinson and Jackson Robinson.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Frank Robinson; parents; brothers, Wayne Robinson and James Robinson; sisters, Mary Johnson and Dorothy Johnson.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning, June 9, 2018 at Fisher Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Mark Roach officiating.  Interment followed with full military honors at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. - - - Fisher Funeral Home


Mary Madeline Robinson, 86, entered into eternal life Saturday, June 19, 2021 in Denison, Texas.
Mrs. Robinson was born December 22, 1934 in Denison, Texas, daughter of Patrick J. and Estelle Peters.  She married the love of her life Elmer "Robbie Robinson on September 5, 1951 and remained married until his death.  Mary was a true servant and loved the Lord and her family with all her heart.
The wife of a  military man, Mary lived in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Germany, North Carolina, and f inally back to her hometown of Denison, Texas, where she raised her 3 children and many grandchildren.
Mary dedicated her life to being the best housewife, mother, and grandmother she could be.  Even if you weren't family, Mary loved you all the same.  She always had an open-door policy, and everyone was welcome.  Her home became a safe haven for many; she never turned anyone away who needed help.  She was the first to offer help any way she could.  A proud member of Belmont Baptist Church, Mary lived her life in the way scripture instructs.
Mrs. Robinson leaves behind her son, Patrick Robinson and wife, Lisa, of Denison, Texas; daughter, Peggy Jacobs and husband, John, of Denison, Texas; grandchildren: Chris Robinson and wife, Sofia; Jennifer Robinson; Brooks Robinson; Andrew Jacobs; Alex Jacobs, Laura Robinson; Kyle Robinson and Nikki Robinson; and 3 great-grandchildren: DeLaney Robinson, Jackson Robinson, and Frankie Robinson; and one great-great-grandchild, Lukas Frazier.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband; son, Frank Robinson; parents; brothers, Bill Peters, Louis Peters and James Peters; and sisters,  Frances Vineyard, Patricia Hawkins, and Sue Wolf.
Funeral services were held Wednesday noon,  June 23, 2021 at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Mark Roach officiating.  Interment followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Belmont Baptist Church in Denison, Texas or Perrin Air Force Base Historical Mueseum in Denison, Texas.
