Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday in Waldo Funeral Chapel for R. N. (Bob) Rolen, 62, of 1015 E. Lamar, who suffered a fatal heart attack at 10 p.m. Tuesday in his home.  The Rev. T. L. Monroe, pastor of Belmont Baptist Chapel, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.  The family will be at the Waldo Funeral Chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.0
Born in Grayson County, October 11, 1898, Mr. Rolen had been engaged in the construction business all of his life.  He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. (Vallie Dee Killough) Rolen.  Mr. Rolen was a member of the Baptist Church.  On December 24, 1938, he married Miss Lillie Mae McBride in Durant, Oklahoma.  He attended Sherman schools. 
Survivors besides his wife, are three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Skaggs of Denison, Mrs. Cleo Gaines of Sherman and Mrs. F.T. Gattis of Wichita Falls; a nephew and six nieces.
