Sherman, Tex - Annie Jo Hill Rayford was born December 18, 1930 in Bells, Texas and departed this life November 29, 2015 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas with all her family and friends at her bedside.  She was born to the parentage of Elbert and Rena Hill.  She had three brothers, AV, Leon and Elbert, Jr.  She was educated in the Fannin County ISD.
Annie worked at Wilson & Jones Hospital in the Dietary Department.  Annie married Rev. Daniel Rayford on February 8, 1950.  To this union 10 children were born: Ronita, William, Delois, Danny, Donna, Carl, Ben, Kelvin, Deveyon and Trena.
Annie moved to California from 1975-1986 where she served at the Whole Truth Temple COGIC, where D.A. Morgan was her Pastor.  Upon returning she joined Mr. Carmel COGIC under Elder Henry Marine Sr., where she served as a Church Mother, President of Bible Band, sung in the choir and worked faithfully wherever needed.  She loved the Lord and instilled his word in her children and whoever crossed her path.  Annie worked for the City of Sherman Glennie O'Ham Center with the Latch Key Program before retiring.
Annie's parents, husband, three brothers, three sons, and one daughter preceded her in death.
Annie leaves to cherish her memories: daughters, Ronita Mouton (Joseph), Donna Johnson (David), Trena Jones (Nathan); sons, Ben (Nancy), Kelven, Deveyon (Clara); 37 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren; goddaughter Loretta Pride; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 5, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at Harmony Baptist Church, Sherman.  Rev. Clifton Eaton, host pastor, with Elder Henry Marine Sr. and Ben Rayford delivered the eulogies.  Burial followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman.
Services were entrusted to James E. Smith with Scoggins Funeral Home & Crematory, 637 W. Van Alstyne Pkwy, Van Alstyne, Texas75495.
