Parker 29 January 1940 - 27 August 2012 Ensign 1 US Navy Vietnam  Georgia Rae Parker, 78, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Parker was born September 26, 1940 in Sherman, Texas, daughter of Sam and Marcella Owens Howard. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping. Georgia loved her family and spending time with them. The great joys of her life were her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Parker is survived by her family - son, Ronald "Ron" Oswalt and wife, Debbie, of Waxahachie, Texas; daughters, Kelley Parker of Denison; Kim Minick and husband, Mark, of Austin; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Earl Howard and wife, Billie, of Denison; Charles "Chuck" Howard and wife, Normaline, of Plano; and Larry Howard of Richardson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Jerry Howard and Gene Howard. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, December 27, 2018 at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roger Speers officiating. Interment followed in Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Pallbearers were Chase Anderson, Jake Minick, Cameron Smith, Jason Clark, John Wilk and Dylan Wilk.
