Established 1948   Willie James Oliphant, Jr., 53, was born in Wichita Falls at Sheppard Air Force Based and passed away on August 15, 2020 in McKinney, Texas. Born to Willie James Oliphant, Sr. and Beulah Mae Oliphant on November 30, 1966. He graduated from Sherman Public School in 1984 and was honored to be Vice President of the student body. He attended Grayson County Junior College. He was united in holy matrimony to Marilyn Regina Mask. They had given birth to one daughter, Charity Oliphant. Willie was successful in management for many years. His last place of employment was at North Texas Job Corps where he mentored and guided the youth. He was very family-oriented and enjoyed the holidays when family would fellowship together. In addition, he was a very loyal Cowboys football fan and passionate cook. Willie loved God and he was an active member serving in the role as a deacon at Saint Mark Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Samuel Charles Wattley. Those who remain to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife; his darling daughter; his dedicated and caring mother; his siblings, Norma Oliphant White and Donna Oliphant. His nieces and nephews include Darla White, Dasia Oliphant, Deonna White, Natayvia White, Nehemiah White, Chante Bromsey, Deontre Jackson. Also all uncles, aunts, a host of cousins, relatives and friends who loved and treasured him dearly. Willie James Oliphant, Jr. entered into eternal life on August 15, 2020 at Baylor White Medical Center and rests safely in the arms of our Heavenly Father where there is no more suffering or pain. Funeral services were held at Harmony Baptist Church, Sherman, Texas, on Saturday afternoon, August 22, 2020 with Pastor Charles Wattley officiating. Rev. Clifton Eaton was the Host Pastor. Burial followed at Cedarlawn Memorial Park. "Face Mask required due to Covie-19". Arrangements were under the direction of James E.
