Denison - Orean Bradley Odle, 97, passed away July 26, 2014 in Denison, Texas.
Orean was born May 18, 1917 in Parker County , Texas, daughter of Minnie Alice Addington and Henry Barton Bradley.  She was one of 18 children.
She married Jessie Howard Odle in 1933.  They were married for 56 years.
Mrs. Odle moved to Denison in the early 1940s where she became a member of East Baptist Church.  Her love was teaching in the Beginners and Primary Departments.  She alway looked forward to summer Vacation Bible School.  Her deviled eggs were requested at church functions and dinners for families that had lost loved ones.
She worked in the Denison Independent School District Cafeteria where she enjoyed serving students, faculty and most of all fellowshipping with other workers.
She is survived by her children: Henry Gene Odle of Arlington, Texas; Billy Joe Odle of Kemp, Oklahoma; Mozelle Odle Weatherly and husband, Bill, of Ft. Worth, Texas; Lazelle Odle Weda and husband, Angelo, of Denison, Texas.
Mrs. Odle's grandchildren: Tanja Odle Burgdorf and husband, Wayne, of Arlington, Texas; Jim Odle and wife, Vickie, of Kremlin, Oklahoma; Stacie Odle Row and husband, Joe y, of Lewisville, Texas; Melanie Weatherly Sparkman of Ft. Worth, Texas; Brad Weatherly of North Richland Hills, Texas; Jay Weda and wife, Kim, of Denison, Texas; Rhonda Weda Spence of Sherman; and Larry Brockman and wife, Lindi, of Burleson, Texas.  She was blessed to have 19 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Jessie Howard Odle who worked for 30 years as a Service Brakeman for the Katy Railroad; grandson, Mark Weatherly of Ft. Worth, Texas; great-grandson, Kyle Weatherly of Ft. Worth; her parents; 17 brothers and sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, July 29, 2014 at Bratcher Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Woods of West Sherman Baptist Church and Bro. Brett Castle of East Side Baptist Church officiating.
Pallbearers were her grandsons: Jim Odle; Brad Weatherly; Larry Brockman; Joey Row; Wayne Burgdorf; and Jay Weda.
Mrs. Odle called Denison Nursing & Rehab her home for the past 10 years where she lived comfortably and received excellent care and love. She was very active in all activities under the direction of Belinda Lowrance, Activity Director.  Her medical needs were a priority to LVN Megan Gurley and the entire medical staff of the home.

Mrs. Odle was always complementary of the food provided by Amanda Fleck and her entire staff. She was always grateful for the cleanliness provided by Linda Lashley and the cleaning staff.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to East Baptist Church or the Denison Nursing & Rehab Fund.




Billy Joe Odle, 79, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017 at his hometown of Denison, Texas.  After a long battle with cancer, he passed away of a heart attack.  Mr. Odle was born in Agua Caliente, California, son of Jesse Howard Odle and Orean Bradley Odle. 
Funeral service was held Friday morning at Bratcher Funeral Home; burial followed the service at Cedarlawn Cemetery [sic].  
Billy is survived by daughter, Stacie Odle Row and husband, Joseph; grandchildren, Joseph Cole Row and Shelby Danelle Row of Lewisville, Texas; brother, Henry Odle of Arlington; sisters, Lazelle Weda of Denison and Mozelle Weatherly and husband, Bill, of Ft. Worth.
He attended Raynal Elementary School and Denison High School class of 1956.  He was voted Class Favorite his Freshman year.  He always looked forward to his class reunions.  After high school, Billy served in the United States Navy and was a proud veteran.  After returning from service, he worked for Pillsbury and Hempkins Auto Parts.  Later he drove a school bus for Denison School District.  He was a member of East Baptist Church and was choir director for several years.  He was a wonderful friend, son, brother and father, who made constant sacrifices to give his daughter an education and the best life possible.  He was a Godly man and many say he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.  He will be dearly missed.
