Established 1948   Maurine Moore Robinson, 93, slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus Friday, March 3 , 2017 in Denison. Mrs. Robinson was born December 31, 1923 in Westover, Texas, daughter of Herbert and Nannie Cockrell Bynum. She graduated from Seymour High School in 1943. Maurine married James E. Moore July 2 8, 1945. He preceded her in death. She married Raymond Robinson May 28, 1989 in his home in Garland, Texas. He also preceded her in death. She worked at JC Penney's for 15 years before retiring in April 1989. She loved her family and the Lord. She attended Calvary Baptist Church. Maurine will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Maurine leaves behind her son, James H . Moore and wife, Linda, of Denison, Texas; son, Michael R. Moore and wife, LeaAnne, of Poetry, Texas; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; step-daughter, Judy Blanton and husband, James, of Rowlett, Texas; step-daughter, Sharon Griffin of Quanlin, Texas; and 4 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren; twin sister, Montine Watters of Burleson, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; husbands, James E. Moore and Raymond Robinson; and infant son, Johnny Mack Moore in 1952. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, March 7, 2017 at Fisher Funeral Home with Pastor Jerald Moore officiating. Interment was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman. Pallbearers were her grandson and friends. Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home in Denison.
