Denison - Mrs. Marilyn Frances McClure, 61, Denison, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison.
Mrs. McClure was born on June 4, 1951, daughter of N.B. McClure, Jr. and Verna Lee Stokes in Durant, Oklahoma.
Mrs. McClure graduated from Denison High School and worked in health care as a caregiver.  She was a lifetime resident of this area and loved animals, and was creative in crafts and needle art.  She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church.
She is survived by one sister, Kathy Sturch and husband, Ernest, of Durant, Oklahoma; and one brother, James "Mackey" McClure and wife, Carol, of Denison.  She has one grandchild, Ariel Copeland; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends a nd other relatives.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Shay Copeland.
Memorial services for Mrs. McClure were held Friday morning, August 10, 2012 at the American Funeral Services chapel, Denison, Texas with Ernest Sturch officiating.  Interment was at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman.
American Funeral Services of Denison was in charge of all arrangements.
